in the given questions, both the chlorine and carboxylic acid are EWG groups, and carboxylic acid dominates chlorine in terms of -i effect order. so why does the electrons move towards chlorine rather than moving to carboxylic acid ? why does carboxylic acid give away electrons rather than accepting them ? please give answer.....i have asked another question before this,four days ago and did not receive any answer......and you say that doubt clearing is 24/7...?
