As per your lecture about dinoflagellates you said that sexual reproduction is absent in them.But you also said that there will be zygotic meiosis in them since life cycle of dinoflagellates is haplontic. How can meiosis of zygote take place when there is no zygote in the first place since there is no sexual reproduction or fertilisation taking place in them?
