The National Eligibility
Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG exam is just 2 days away. Aspirants must remember
to keep their admit cards which are available on the official website
cbseneet.nic.in This year The students appearing for NEET 2017 exam will
be required to mark answers at the OMR sheet of NEET UG exam on May 7. The NEET
Entrance Test will consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions
from Physics, Chemistry and Biology
(Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed
machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen provided by CBSE at examination
Centre only. The duration of NEET exam would be 03 hours.
It is important to note
that fifteen minutes before the commencement of the test every candidate will
be given a sealed Test Booklet. Aspirants must note that immediately on receipt
of the Test Booklet the candidates will fill in the required particulars on the
cover page of the Test Booklet with Ball Point Pen provided at the Centre. The
candidates are required to note to fully satisfy themselves about the accuracy
of the answer before darkening the appropriate circle as no change in answer

permissible as the Answer Sheets are machine gradable and it may lead to wrong
evaluation.
The students are
required to note that the candidate should immediately report the matter to the
invigilator for replacement of both the Test Booklet and the Answer Sheet.
Candidates are also required to write the particulars with ball point pen on
both the sides. After completing this step the candidate will wait for the
signal by the Invigilator to start the test. After completing the Test and
before handing over the Answer Sheet, the candidates will be required to check
again that all the particulars required in the Answer Sheet have been correctly
written and marked.
The Side-2 of each
Answer Sheet will have a pre-printed Test Booklet Code A, B, C and D etc. The
candidates are required to check that the Test Booklet Code pre-printed on
SIDE-2 of the Answer Sheet is the same as printed on the Test Booklet. The
format of the answer sheet will be used for answering questions. Candidates are
advised to go through it and be conversant with the requirements of giving
particulars and marking the answers.
As per the information
available the answer sheet used will be of special type and will need to be
scanned on Optical Scanner. It is important to note that there will be
two sides of the Answer Sheet: Side 1 This side of the Answer Sheet contains
the following columns which are to be filled in neatly and accurately by the
candidate with Blue/Black ball point pen provided at the Centre. It is
important to note that use of pencil on OMR sheet is not allowed. OMR sheet
filled in with pencil would be summarily rejected for evaluation.
