NEET UG exam 2017 has
been conducted successfully for over 12 lakh candidates. The Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE), which is conducting the test, had issued important
instructions for the candidates, including restriction on use of toilet in the
last 30 minutes of the exam It was important for the candidates to
carry Admit Card, Passport
size Photograph and Post Card Size Photograph affixed on proforma. The exam pattern of NEET 2017 consist of a
total of 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology Section For
each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for
each incorrect answer.
This year the paper of
NEET UG exam 2017 had questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology section.
The aspirants who had appeared for the exam said that the Physics paper
was quite lengthy and difficult. There were difficult and lengthy questions.
While the biology and chemistry section of NEET UG exam was of average
difficulty. The students also said that those aspirants who were well versed
with the chemistry formulae found it easier to solve the paper in an organized
and timely manner.
This year the Physics
section of NEET UG examcomprised of a total of 45 questions. The questions in the Physics section
included questions from Mechanical Properties, Current Electricity,
Dual nature of matter and radiation, there were also questions from Magnetism
and moving charges, thermodynamics, rigid body dynamics, work energy and power.
For the Physics paper, it was important that the candidates had clarity of
concepts. The chemistry section had comprised questions from Equilibrium,
basic concepts, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic acids. The NEET paper also
had questions from Alkanes, Alkenes and Alkynes.
The Biology paper of NEET section included questions from Genetics and Biotechnology. For the biology section the questions were asked from biological classification, principles of Inheritance and variation, Morphology of flowering plants, Cell: the unit of life, Animal and Reproduction. Overall it can be said that the paper of NEET UG was based on the NCERT syllabus. The questions in Chemistry, Biology and were a mix of simple, average, and difficult type.
