The notification for NEET
Super Specialty (SS) exam has been announced at the official website. The
online application process for SS commenced on April 13, 2017 at the official
website nbe.edu.in/neetss. The registrations for the NEET SS Exam 2017
will end on May 13, 2017. The NEET Super Specialty s a single window entrance
examination for all Super Specialty DM/MCh courses in the country. It is also
important to note that no other entrance examination, either at state or
institution level, is valid for entry to DM/ MCh Courses as per the Indian
Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2016 w.e.f. 2017 admission session.
Aspirants are required
to note that qualifying NEET-SS is mandatory for gaining entry to DM/M.Ch.
Courses under various Universities/Institutions in the country. The NEET Super
Specialty (SS) exam 2017 will be conducted on June 10, 11, 2017.
The results of NEET Super Specialty (SS) exam will be out by July 15,
2017. Registration and scheduling for appearing in NEET-SS 2017 is to be
undertaken online at the website www.nbe.edu.in. Application forms cannot be submitted in
offline printed copy by post.
Candidates should ensure
before applying for the registration that they possess a recognized
degree/Provisional Pass Certificate of MD/MS/DNB as per provisions of Indian
Medical Council Act or an equivalent recognized qualification. If it is found
at any time that MD/MS/DNB degree is not recognized, the candidature/result
shall be cancelled/ deemed to be cancelled. All the correspondence should
preferably be addressed by e-mail. The e-mail query shall be addressed only if
it is not anonymous and contains the name, postal address and contact telephone
number of the sender.
The question paper will
consist of 200 MCQs with single correct response. There will be a separate
question paper for the specialties. For example, a candidate with MS/DNB
(General Surgery) will take the test in General Surgery specialty and a
candidate with MD/DNB (Paediatrics) will take the test
