CBSE to hold compartment examinations from July 2

Students, who had failed to clear their Class X and XII exams, are being given a chance by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to appear for their compartment exams starting from July 2.

The admit cards for both, regular and private students, have been released by the CBSE. The private students can download their admit cards from the official website of CBSE, while the regular students can collect their admit cards from their respective schools.

Both, theory and practical examinations, will be conducted by the board. For regular candidates appearing for practical exams, the schools will wrap-up the practicals by June 30, while for private candidates, July 15 is the last date. Practical examinations of private candidates will be held at the centre of their theory exam, unless notified.

Compartment examinations for Class X will be held from July 2-10.

Exams for all subjects for Class XII will be held on July 2.

  • July 3: Hindustani music, English communicative and English language and literature
  • July 5: Maths
  • July 6: Home Science, Sanskrit
  • July 9: Hindi Course A, Punjabi
  • July 10: Social Science
