After shifting the exam date of JEE Advanced 2019 from May 19 to May 27, 2019, due to the last phase of Lok Sabha Elections, the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has released the complete schedule for the exam. The schedule has been prepared in accordance with the JEE Main Result 2019 for both phases– January and April.
Exam pattern for JEE Advance 2019
There will be two papers for JEE Advanced 2019 based on three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates must score qualifying marks in JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 to be among the top 2,45,000 eligible for JEE Advanced 2019.
JEE Advanced 2019 appearing candidates will have to appear for both Papers 1, 2 to qualify and be eligible for admissions to IITs. The exam will be conducted in fully computer-based test mode like the last year.

About JEE Advanced
JEE Advanced is the second stage of Joint Entrance Examination for admission into the engineering programs of the prestigious IITs or the Indian Institutes of Technology. This exam is conducted by the 7 zonal IITs on a rotational basis as per the guidelines of IIT exam governing body – Joint Admission Board (JAB).
It is the most difficult and popular engineering entrance examination among aspirants. There are a total of 23 IITs in India with approximately 11279 seats.
Every year, one of the IITs conducts JEE Advanced for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology offering engineering courses.
