Ten more days are left for candidates to apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019.
National Testing Agency (NTA), which started accepting application forms on November 1, will close its online application counter on November 30.
After submitting the form online on https://ntaneet.nic.in/Ntaneet/Welcome.aspx, candidates should pay the application fee within a month.
There is no change in application fee this year. While reserved category (SC/ST/PwD/OBC and Transgender) students should pay Rs 750, others should pay Rs 1,400 per submission.
The NTA has clarified that candidates should pay service or processing charges besides GST while submitting the fee, as applicable.
Fifteen days have been earmarked (January 14 to 31, 2019) to make corrections in application particulars.
The exam will be held between 2 pm and 5 pm on May 5 next year. Last year, the exam was held in the morning hours causing great difficulties for rural applicants. Some missed the exam as they could not reach the exam centre on time.
Results will be out on June 5.
Meanwhile, private coaching centres have intensified training and some have started conducting revision tests.
